Jonathan Van Ness

COMEDY BY

Jonathan is one of the most visible nonbinary media personalities and uses their platform to raise awareness for a range of LGBTQ+ and HIV issues. They are a fierce advocate for social justice, trans lives and elevating queer voices and experiences. As an avid supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, they have worked closely with Planned Parenthood and The Trevor Project on campaigns tied to the release of their book that focused on removing the shame and stigma that comes along with talking about sexual health, as well as the long-lasting effects of bullying and how to overcome it.

As of 2018, Jonathan has been a member of the new Fab Five in Netflix’s reboot of Queer Eye as the show’s beauty and self-care expert. Jonathan hosted and executive produced their first solo network series, Getting Curious with Jonathan Van Ness, based on their podcast of the same name, which premiered on Netflix in January 2022.

Jonathan is passionate about issues that impact intersectional communities. From LGBTQIA+ liberation, to inclusive beauty, defunding the police, expanding the HIV social safety net, sustainably, environmental causes, animal welfare, and using their platform and voice for change.

DJ Joune is an internationally acclaimed open-format DJ and the official in-house DJ for the Utah Jazz NBA team and the Utah Hockey CLub. Featured on Billboard.com, he’s opened for iconic acts like Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour, Journey, and Toto. In 2023, DJ Joune performed and curated events for the NBA All-Star games, showcasing his talent for curating experiences ranging from sports events to fashion shows, private parties, festivals and weddings.

In addition to his worldwide performances, DJ Joune has worked with renowned clients such as the Utah Jazz, Sundance Film Festival, Range Rover, and the NHL. His mixes can be found on YouTube, capturing the energy and essence that make him a standout on the international DJ scene
